Flowers + Leather

HAPPY Monday darlings!!!  I know, it’s some kind of miracle that I am posting on a Monday; I haven’t done so in ages!  The chilly weather that came in Friday meant that I spent my Saturday in my house working and relaxing, which allowed for a little extra time for blogging :-).

I’m really big on being able to wear most of my clothes year round (however, coats, leather, and sweaters just aren’t options once the 100 degree weather hits Houston).  So, when a little rain came through last week, I figured I’d throw on the vintage floral dress that I wore on my birthday; since it’s open back, I threw a blazer on with it.  My brown Rebecca Minkoff booties gave this “made for spring/summer” dress a fall effect that I just love.  This above the knee dress and booties combo is one I want to wear more often this season, but I need to do a little dress shopping first :-).

Blazer:  Kirna Zabete for Target (try this option); Dress:  unknown- vintage from Etsy; Shoes:  Rebecca Minkoff ℅ Shopbop (sold out on Shopbop, but get them here)

Style Tip:  Transition your clothes form season to season with layers, and don’t deny the power of a good blazer to give a fun look some polish.

For many of you, this is the start of Thanksgiving vacation, but for others of us, there is still work to be done, lol.  HAVE A GREAT WEEK DEARS!!
